For Love

When your heart craves for someone; you are in love. When you lost in dreams of someone; you are in love. When you keep thinking of someone and feels like smiling alone;you are in love. Love is pure; Love is blind; Love is spontaneous.It comes without knocking until you have discovered it. And once the realization happens the same love disintegrates and becomes a distant cry. Many had tried to keep the spirit burning, but their stories ended up in isolation; leaving only sweet memories to feed on. We termed this as Eternal Love, which is rare.

The cupid in contemporary love is a bit cunning and prefers intelligence over heart. It’s the desire to achieve fulfillment not from within but from the external persona that qualifies as love today. You are lucky if you have something expensive as gift, a spendthrift by nature, you have a great physical feature or you don’t have a heart to feel for. A pretentious approach though, but good enough to claim a shared perspective amidst numerous compromises and understandings.

Change in life is a constant, and so is the approach to love. Why raise an issue when we know that the happiness we search for is elusive by nature. Still there is one beautiful occasion that revisits every year to make us realize and experience the love of a world we’d left behind. I wish every longing soul finds console in the warmth of this Valentine.
